Give generously to provide scholarships and other
educational opportunities to the next generation of area
culinary and hospitality arts professionals.
CHEF is a tax-exempt charitable organization founded and supported by the Bonita and Naples Chapters of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs to serve the culinary and hospitality arts professions by adding scholarships, awards, financial incentives and skills development opportunities to deserving individuals in SW Florida who are committed to furthering their education and enhancing their careers.
The Culinary and Hospitality Education Foundation of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit tax exempt corporation. One hundred percent of all contributions benefit CHEF.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Foundation offers scholarships starting at $1,000 to deserving individuals who are either
students currently enrolled in high school or post-high school programs or to individuals currently employed in the culinary or hospitality industries. In 2009, CHEF awarded $35,000 in scholarships to 12 area students. These students are enrolled at Florida Gulf Coast University, Johnson & Wales University, or The Culinary Institute of America.
HIGH SCHOOL SUPPORT AND AWARDS
Chaîne members work with chef instructors in area high schools to identify needs, providing
cookware, tableware, cookbooks, and assistance with competitions as funds permit. When possible, the valuable experience of working at Chaîne events is made available to local students. In addition, each year the high school’s Most Outstanding Culinary Student is recognized with an award.
COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS
The Foundation has formed partnerships with high schools in Collier and Lee counties and has
expanded the partnership concept by forming alliances with local chapters of the Florida Restaurant Association, the Collier County Chapter of Country Club Managers Association of America, the American Culinary Federation, and the Collier County Hotel and Lodging Association. It also works closely with the Resort and Hospitality Management School at Florida Gulf Coast University.

- Both Live and Silent Auctions will be held. The Committee reserves the right to allocate the donations.

- A Gift Certificate will be created if none is submitted.
Please list each component of you donation below and include or attach a description (including a brochure or photo, if applicable). Include all applicable restrictions such as starting and expiration dates, taxes and gratuities. For fine wine donations, provide as much information as possible.
